An all around nymph that will produce fish in lakes or streams. The Flashback Pheasant and Peacock nymph is a version of the Pheasant Tail. I like this fly because the peacock just makes it look "buggy", while the pheasant tail brings in the color of many, many different mayfly nymphs. I rib the fly with copper wire to add to its durability. I have also added flashback to the wingcase to give it that glisten of the natural when it is close to hatching. |
