Mayfly Dry Flies are what fly fishing is all about. Classic rising fish sipping tiny flies, precision casting, long leaders, light tippets. This spells nirvana for many. I've brought together a selection of my favorite mayfly dry flies. You'll see many tried and true patterns, and some that might not be familiar. I've added descriptions to many of these flies, along with typical fishing situations where they might be effective, and some tactics to try.
