Steelhead Nymphs
On many steelhead rivers nymphing techniques for steelhead have become very common. Often indicator nymphing for steelhead is a more effective technique than traditional swinging techniques. I've added a series of nymph patterns that I use for steelhead on several Northern California rivers, including the Klamath and Trinity. These nymph are tied similar to the trout fly version of each pattern, but are tied with much more robust hooks, often with a touch of steelhead flash in the fly and all have successful steelhead patterns on the rivers
